Privacy Policy

• Information you give us. Organization and contact details submitted in a fundraiser application (name, email, phone, group name, location), account credentials, fundraiser page content you upload such as descriptions, logos, and photos, payout details, and any messages or support requests you send us.
• Order information. When you buy popcorn through a fundraiser page, checkout is handled by our e-commerce provider. We receive order details such as items, totals, fulfillment status, and the name, email, and shipping address tied to the order so we can attribute credit to the right fundraiser.
• Payment information. We do not collect or store full payment card numbers. Payments are processed by our payment provider under their own security controls.
• Automatically collected information. Log data such as IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and timestamps, plus cookies and similar technologies used to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and measure basic site usage.

• Review fundraiser applications and set up campaign pages.
• Process, fulfill, and support orders and returns.
• Calculate fundraiser earnings and issue payouts.
• Send transactional messages such as approvals, invitations, password resets, order confirmations, and campaign summaries.
• Provide customer and technical support.
• Monitor, secure, debug, and improve the service.
• Send optional marketing or program updates where you have opted in, and comply with legal and tax obligations.

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:

• Service providers who work on our behalf, including hosting and database infrastructure, e-commerce and payment processing, email delivery, analytics, and file storage, under contracts limiting their use of the data.
• The sponsoring organization of a fundraiser, which can see aggregate results for its campaign and limited supporter details needed to run and thank supporters of that campaign.
• Others when required by law, to enforce our agreements, or to protect the rights, safety, and property of Cactus Corn, our users, or the public.
• A successor entity in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

We use strictly necessary cookies for authentication and session management, and limited analytics cookies to understand how pages perform. You can block or delete cookies in your browser, but some features, including signing in to an admin dashboard, may not work.

We keep information for as long as needed to run the program and for a reasonable period afterward to meet legal, accounting, tax, and dispute-resolution requirements. Fundraiser and order records are typically retained for the life of the account plus any required record-keeping period, then deleted or anonymized.

We use industry-standard safeguards including encryption in transit, access controls, row-level database permissions, and private storage for uploaded files. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

• Unsubscribe from marketing email using the link in any such message. Transactional messages about your account or orders will still be sent.
• Request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, or a copy of it in a portable format.
• Object to or ask us to restrict certain processing, where applicable law provides that right.
• Residents of some states and countries, including California and the EEA/UK, have additional rights, including the right not to be discriminated against for exercising them. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Fundraisers often benefit youth groups, but the service is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Accounts and orders must be created by an adult. If you believe a child provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this policy from time to time. We will revise the "last updated" date above and, for material changes, provide additional notice.
